MKB Kicks so far: 233 Funds raised: £489

Accrington Stanley FC v MK Dons

Posted on March 10 2008 at 9:55 p.m.

Accrington Stanley FC became the first ever football club to hold a ‘Public Kicking’ over the Easter weekend at their game with MK Dons. Kickers included the entire ASFC squad, guest celebrities, fans of both teams and Dons manager Paul Ince, the Ex England and Manchester United player.

Celebrated northerner Jeff ‘Bog Off’ Brown, famous for the Safe-Style UK TV adverts, compered the event. MKB added over 100 kicks to the quest to create the Most Kicked Ball in history. We would like to thank Samba Sports for donating the nets, the staff and players of Accrington Stanley for inviting MKB to the Fraser Eagle Stadium and to applaud both sets of fans for their enthusiasm and generous support.

Video highlights of the event available on line now.
