MKB Kicks so far: 233 Funds raised: £489

A Good Public Kicking

Posted on February 21 2008 at 12:59 p.m.

Two professional footballers, a gang of school children, some hairdressers, and two 97 yr old ladies were amongst the kickers of the ball last weekend as MKB held its first ever public kicking in Barnoldswick, Lancashire. In all, over 100 people turned out, raising more than £230 for charity.

MKB would like to applaud all the kickers for their generosity. A special thank you goes to West Craven High School, and pro footballers Richard Chaplow (Preston North End), and Adnan Ahmed (Tranmere Rovers).
